How to Apply

Apply online via the Gold Card portal
Visit goldcard.nat.gov.tw, create an account, fill out the form, and upload documents. Pay the fee (approx. $100). Processing is entirely online.
Receive your Gold Card and activate it
Processing takes 4-6 weeks. If approved, you receive an electronic Gold Card. You then enter Taiwan and activate it at the National Immigration Agency, after which you can work and live freely for up to 3 years.
